The Hemophilia Association of New Jersey (HANJ) is a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization established in 1971. For more than five decades, HANJ has provided essential programs and services to individuals and families affected by inherited bleeding disorders across New Jersey.
Our work is made possible through the generosity of donors and community partners. Contributions to HANJ directly support our local bleeding disorders community through educational and support programs, emergency assistance, Medic Alert bracelets, family and community events, and informational seminars for parents and caregivers.
When you support HANJ, you help strengthen our role as the recognized voice and trusted resource for those living with inherited bleeding disorders in New Jersey. Together, we can continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

Legacy Giving
In 1971, the Hemophilia Association of New Jersey opened its doors and began providing support and assistance to its members. It was through the dedication, time and talents of several New Jersey families who came together to help others overcome the challenges of living with a bleeding disorder that we can continue to support their dreams. Through planned giving, you can continue their legacy and honor people who invest in the health and well-being of people afflicted with inherited bleeding disorders through a deferred gift to Hemophilia Association of New Jersey.
