Volunteer with HANJ!
HANJ was built to provide support and a safe haven for those with bleeding disorders, and we can’t do it alone.
If you’re a student needing volunteer hours, a scout, part of a sorority or fraternity, or just someone looking to give back, there are always ways to help. Volunteering is a great way to make connections while supporting our community. Our volunteers offer their time and talent in a number of ways including:
- Participation in educational programming
- Volunteering for fundraising events
- Serving as a board or committee member
- Advocating for the community by mailing and calling legislators
This is just a sampling of the ways YOU could serve as a HANJ volunteer. We are always looking for bilingual volunteers.
If you would like to explore how you could join our team of dedicated volunteers, please reach out to our office »
Volunteer on a Committee
- Fundraising: Create and implement new fundraising opportunities and help manage events from setup to closing.
- Publicity/Education: Partner with HTCs and others to organize educational programs for all ages.
- Development: Review and update association policies, keep HANJ current, and strengthen advocacy efforts.
- Golf: Our annual Dennis Keelty Memorial Golf Tournament requires its own committee of golfers and non-golfers alike.
