About Us

The Hemophilia Association of New Jersey

Founded in 1971, the Hemophilia Association of New Jersey (HANJ) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families affected by Hemophilia and related bleeding disorders across the state.

For over 50 years, HANJ has provided critical support through advocacy, education, financial assistance, and community-based programming. We work to ensure that every person — regardless of age, background, or diagnosis — has access to the care, resources, and support they need to live empowered and healthy lives.

From hosting educational workshops and youth programs to offering direct assistance with insurance and treatment costs, HANJ stands as a trusted partner and advocate for New Jersey’s bleeding disorders community.
